Multiple artists are creating A3-size artworks which will be on show on Level One at Melbourne GPO in June. Each artwork will feature both illustration and mixed media and will be sent through the postal system; a nod to MGPO’s heritage. The Jacky Winter Group will send an art board out to an artist who will in turn send it onto another. The artworks will then be returned back to MGPO and then exhibited at ʻChain Mail: True Selfʼ.

More than 50 local creatives are taking part, such as Beci Orpin, James Gulliver Hancock and Kelly Thompson. These artists will be showcasing their skills in varying disciplines including photography, illustration and fashion design. The artworks will draw from themes such as self-image and transformation, and will be on display for just three weeks in June.

The originals on display will each be sold for $200, with all proceeds going to Fitted for Work, a not-for-profit organisation that assists women experiencing disadvantage by providing them with free interview clothing and transition to work programs.
